Beta Software

You're using a beta version of the app made available to external testers. It may contain bugs, may be unavailable at times, and features may change or be removed without notice. We make no guarantee of uptime or data permanence during this period.

About the Content

The figures

The historical and biblical figures in this app, including their portraits, biographies, quotes, and daily reflections, are here for education and devotional reflection. This app is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorized by any of these figures, their estates, or any institution connected to them.

What's made with AI

• Headlines. They come from a news service. AI picks the day's most significant stories from them, keeps one version of each story with the most neutral wording, and sorts them into tabs. It never rewrites a headline.
• Quotes. They come from a curated library, and each one is tied to its source. AI matches them to each day's headlines.
• Daily reflections. Written by AI in a figure's voice, based on their verified writings, or on their words as recorded by others when they wrote little or nothing themselves, and meant to stay true to what they taught. They are not the figure's own words, and I don't claim that the figure wrote or said them.
• Portraits. AI-generated illustrations. Each one is based on historical research and checked by hand, but they are artistic interpretations, not actual likenesses.

Why use AI at all

A lot of people have real concerns about AI, including its energy and environmental costs, what it means for workers and jobs, the power it puts in a few hands, and how it affects the way we learn and think. Those concerns are fair. The Courage Post is not an endorsement of AI. It's my attempt to use it in a narrow, careful way, as a tool that points you back to what these men and women taught and the faith they held, never as a substitute for it. Building it is also how I'm learning, first-hand, what this technology can and can't actually do, rather than relying on hype or speculation.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to: reverse-engineer or scrape the app or its APIs, use the app for any unlawful purpose, or attempt to disrupt its operation. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms.

Your Account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. You may delete your account at any time (see Privacy Policy for how).

Intellectual Property

The app's design, code, and curated content library are owned by Onos Monos. You retain ownership of anything you personally write (e.g., reflection notes).

No Warranty

The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Onos Monos is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the app develops. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
